Das läßt sich nicht mehr feststellen, da der Chinese mittlerweile ausgemüffelt hat.

I have a question about the 28443 50th anniversary GE4/4ii: someone on MLS forum posted that he was told by Maerklin that this MFX decoder could not be programmed by a Massoth system. It can operate the locomotive but not program it, except by a CS3. I find this hard to believe! He also said they are programmed not to operate sound in analog mode. Can you help clarify this with your experience? Thanks!

sorry, my 28443 lost it's mfx-equipement after one day of operation. replaced by a MASSOTH XLS-Onboard plus Powercap-micro plus Panto-print.

I have a second version, the 28443-2 without PR-motives, just red coloured (from the 70018 set). If necessary, I can test it there, because I will modify it even when PREHM is willing to deliver theyr 550026 driver I am waiting for about 5 month

Sounds weird, but i also made this experience with a LGB MFX Decoder and a Massoth 1200Z. If you try to change a CV, the Decoder stop working until you programm CV 8 to Value 8 with another Central Station. I thought it's a random problem with only this Decoder or with only this single 1200Z. Is there someone else with this experience?

Is definitively wrong, it works fine with the Zimo MX10. Same with the really old Zimo MX31ZL. On this System i rescued the decoder, i had "broken" before with the Massoth Central Station.

Definitively not true. LGB wrote in the product description:

The running sounds also work in
analog operation.

And the 50 Anniversary Ge 4/4 II runs perfectly with DC Current.
